Diagnosis: Hydrocephaly, small limbs, no sensitivity from the waist down and history of
Myelomeningocele.
HISTORY
The minor is put at disposition of the government authorities due to that the mother of the minor
abandons him leaving him with his maternal grandfather and he would delegate his care to another
minor, reason why he suffered many falls and neglects that led him to hospitalizations.
MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS:
Hydrocephaly, short limbs that impedes his autonomy, he does not have sensitivity from the waist down
and so he uses a wheel chair, and has a background of Myelomeningocele.
PSYCHOLOGICAL DIAGNOSIS:
Minor that in spite of his deficiencies that he has, Is a boy that attends a special needs school, speaks well,
the house where he lives reports that he is happy and cooperates, he uses a wheelchair, but he moves
himself from one place to another and even with his limitations he is self sufficient , he does not control his
BM because he does not have any sensitivity from the waist down.
CONCLUSIONS:
Fernando is a boy that in spite of his limitations, he has the desire to be successful, he is joyful, optimistic
and cooperative, they report him as a pleasant boy with a desire to live. It would be very beneficial that a
family would have an interest in him, because this would help him by all means and it would be a great
opportunity of life for him.
