Information for Julia & Anatoly
Anatoli  was born on 1st October 1999. He arrived at the Narve-Jõesuu Orphanage on 16th January 2002 together with his sister Julia.
The mother has been deprived of her parental rights, the father is dead.
When Anatoli arrived at the orphanage he was hysterical, cried often, needed individual approaching. During time Anatoli’s character changed he
became more calm, he reacts adequately to comments, does not cry anymore. He loves to play with younger children.
He lives in the same group with his sister, they fight a lot but he takes care of her. He has good relations with his uncle Ivan Lukovkin, who was
born on 14th May 1993 and is living in the same group, also with his aunt Aljona Lukovkin, born on 13.03.1991, who has at the present time left
from the orphanage to live on her own.

The grandmother from his father’s side, who lives in Narva-Jõesuu, visits Anatoli. Before she was deprived of her parental rights, the mother
visited the children twice but she has been missing since 16th April 2010, she has not visited the children. The children saw her at the
grandmother’s funeral. The children basically do not speak of their mother and they do not want to go home. Once Anatoli wrote in an essay that
he likes to live in the orphanage a lot.
Anatoli goes to a dance group and take guitar lessons in the music school. He draws well and likes to collect and put together puzzles. Anatoli is very
accommodating, he fulfills all his duties without being reminded to do so. He is very tidy. The room is always in order. Anatoli studies well and he
specially likes math. Anatoli graduated third grade.


Julia  was born on 16th January 2002. She arrived at the Narva-Jõesuu Orphanage on 31st August 2007 together with her brother Anatoli.

The mother has been deprived of her parental rights in August 2009. The father is dead. Julia has good relations with her uncle Ivan Lukovkin and
aunt Aljona Lukovkina. During school-break she stayed with her aunt and grandmother who both live in Narva. All of them are relatives from
Julia’s mother’s side. Julia also receives visits from her grandmother from his father’s side, who lives in Narva-Jõesuu.

Before she was deprived of her parental rights, the mother visited the children twice but she has been missing since November 2008.  The children
basically do not speak of their mother and they do not want to go home.

Julia has one close friend who she wants to subject to herself. She likes to get all the attention, she wants to be a leader. She studies well and
studying is not difficult for her. She is very tidy, keeps her things in order and also her room.

She goes to a dance group and actively participates in all the activities at the orphanage, dances, sings and reads poems. She graduated first grade
with compliments.
