Information for Sergei & Alexandra
(Waiting for info on Sergei's sister Alexandra)

The character of SERGEI KOZLOV (ID 50110172245) who is at the replacement home service of the -- Orphanage.

Sergei Kozlov arrived at replacement home service of the -- Orphanage on 06.05.2009.

Sergei has a very thin build, he keeps himself slightly crookedly, cries, reacts to questions with a lot of facial expressions, specially when
there is something that he does not like.
Sergei does not have a best friend at the orphanage but he is friends with all the children in his home family and he behaves well around girls
(in this home family all the minor children are girls).

Sergei is still unable to get used to school. The boys studying has been left to extreme carelessness and thereby after the 1st grade he had to
attend summer-school in math, Russian language and literature subjects (school-year 2008/09). The average grade for the school-year of
2009/10 was “3” and also he was given additional homework for summer in the subjects of Russian language and nature lesson. The average
grade for the first semester of this school-year (2010/11) is “3, 33”. His care and behavior have been evaluated at school to be “satisfactory”
and “unsatisfying”.
Sergei does not like to study. The child often reacts to homework by crying and he starts to cry only be looking at the amount of homework
and not by concentrating on the contents of it. He may say that he is unable to do it….Sergei does not have any motivation for studying, he
does not have a constant ability to pay attention, has a short-term memory. At the same time Sergei does have constancy and if he has
started to do his homework in the first place if he will finish it.
According to the decision by Roman Balotšev, the doctor-psychiatrist of the NGO Tartu Ülikooli Kliinikum (Tartu University Clinic), Sergei
needs to study based on an individual curriculum. At the present time the school is customizing an individual curriculum for Sergei.

Compared to the time Sergei arrived at the replacement home service, he is now very active and smart, he has turned out to be an opened
and sincere person. He likes to play outside on the playground  a lot (mostly alone) and he uses all the things on the playground – climbs,
jumps, swings; the boy is not afraid of heights. At home he loves to watch cartoons and play computer games. The boy likes to be
complemented and he might glow with content if he has been complemented and he may try too hard. Sergei likes to do everything at the
boys workshop – as long as he gets to help the work-instructor/renovator.

Sergei has a good behavior at the replacement home, at the home family he helps the teachers with the house work. He fulfills duties and
observes the itinerary of the replacement home. At his home family he helps to do things with the children who are not yet old enough to go
to school. The boy is able to tend to his personal hygiene on his own, is able to wash his own clothes. He keeps his own room in order mostly
because he does not want to keep personal toys in his room and tries not to collect clothes/shoes.

The teacher has noticed that sometimes Sergei does not answer for a long time to questions that have been asked from him and just sits
estranged and looking at one point.
