RAFAEL MERCADO TELLEZ Age: 11 y/o DOB: February 15th, 1998 Education: Special education Diagnosis: Abused child syndrome, left hemispherical due to stroke, right side ptosis. Brain injury. Convulsions due to injury. Neurological injury to the right hemisphere making his left motor skills become paralyzed. MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS Spastic Left Hemisphere, receives speech and physical therapy in the orphanage. He is cared for by the department of neuro-pediatrics in the Specialties hospital After all the physical therapy he has received, the results have been noticeable, he can now move on his own and the movements of his left limbs have achieved certain mobility. CONCLUSIONS: Rafael is an active, social and intelligent boy who needs love and attention, as well as acceptance, he doesn't recognize danger and although this has favored him to be independent, it also results as a risk because this demands the need to give him more attention and since the first meeting you have to set limits and help him to always respect them. |
