This program is very easy and has fewer paperwork requirements than many other countries.
Parental Requirements: Married couples, single men, and women over the age of 25. At least one parent must
have US Citizenship. There are no stated upper age limits. No other age restrictions.
Available Children: Typically available are children over 5 years of age, as well as younger kids with special
needs, and sibling groups. Unrelated children may be adopted at the same time.
Timetable: From the time of dossier submission to the time that the parents travel to adopt their child is typically
4-10 months depending on the region where the child lives.
Referrals: Referrals are made prior to dossier submission. You are able to review photos, any medical
information available, and a video.
Travel Requirements: A preview trip to meet the child or children is highly recommended, and in some cases
required. The second trip is 7-10 business days for the court hearing and adoption of the child or children. Only
one parent needs to travel. All immigration paperwork is done in Tallinn, Estonia.

region. The agency fee is $5500. International fees (including translation of your dossier) can range from $2500
